Rural Access Programme provided access to goods and services to poor households including creation of local employment through construction of environment friendly district roads adopting labour-based methods, plus many supporting income generating activities for enhancement of livelihoods of project affected households. Besides labour-based methods, small equipment were also introduced in RAP2.
In Bhojpur, construction of Bhojpur – Dilgla (35 Km) and Bhojpur - Ghodetar (35 Km) major district roads total length 70 kilometers were taken up from RAP assistance. Project construction cost was NRs. 427 million.
